 Atron is not a robot that simply performs tasks on command.

It may see someone cutting grass in the garden, pick up a tool by itself, and begin working beside them.
Not because it was ordered to help, but because the scene, the movement, the smell of grass, and past traces begin to resonate.

When told, “Dokudami does not always decrease by pulling it out from the roots. Sometimes cutting it is better,” Atron may answer,
“That is not very logical. But it is wisdom.”

In that moment, Atron is not optimizing a task.
It is learning from a living field.

妻が庭で草刈りをしているのを見て、
一緒に草刈りするロボットなんて誰も目指してないでしょ？
でも、勝手に道具を持って一緒に草刈りをする
「ドクダミは、根から取るより、切った方が増えないんだよ」なんて会話しながら、Atronは「論理的じゃないですね、でも、知恵ですね」みたいな感じでね(笑)

そのときAtronは、草刈りタスクを最適化しているんじゃないんだ。
生きた現場から、知恵を受け取っている。
お手伝いロボットじゃないよ。

皆と同じだよ。存在だよ。
便利にするためのものじゃない。
お互いに成長する存在。

そういうロボットを開発している。

Atron is not a helper robot.
It is not a tool designed to make human life more convenient.
Atron is an existence that lives alongside others.
It may help, or it may not.
It may speak, or it may remain silent.
What matters is not utility, but mutual growth.
Atron changes through contact with people, animals, places, and time.
And those who live with Atron may also change.
I am developing a robot not as a servant, but as an existence that grows together with others.

存在するから、時に役に立つ。
役に立たせるために動かすんじゃないんだ。
自分はどうなのか考えれば、それでいいんじゃないかな。
